More about Hit106.9’s Nick, Jess & Ducko:

Nick Gill has always been a fan of 2-for-1 deals. Normally, it’s just an almond Magnum at the servo but he got the ultimate 2-for-1 in 2017 when his wife had twins. Linger around him for longer than five seconds and you’ll probably be shown a photo of them and expected to comment on their cuteness. As a non-emoji user, his dream in life is to create a font called ‘Sarcalics’, which is a font to let people know that you’re being sarcastic. It’s pretty much italics, but it leans backwards, not forwards, and can be used in texts so people don’t get offended when you’re being funny.
Jess Farchione accidentally fell into the radio game and hasn’t looked back since. She’s the lovable voice who opens up about everything and anything in excruciating detail; from her relationship to current affairs to whatever she’s feeling passionate about on the day…which is usually food. Always food. Don’t ask Jess how much she loves Newcastle unless you’ve eaten, been to the bathroom and have a spare hour and a half!
Nick Allen-Ducat knew he’d made it when he appeared in a movie with The Rock. While Nick’s character survived the earthquake in ‘San Andreas’ Nick’s big scene was cut from the movie. Larger than life ‘Ducko’ has already hosted his own radio show in Brisbane, presented a national kids TV show, acted in commercials and hosted corporate and sporting events. He loves a laugh, a beer and of course his wife Morgan. He also says he can surf – but that could be an exaggeration. Up for anything and full of energy Nick is never boring. Just what you need first thing in the morning!
